All Written Out

I’m going to have to pace myself.

I’ve produced about ten pages of essays for Ryan’s and my upcoming project, and I’ve got presentation notes for my Religion and Postmodern Theory class this Thursday, and I wrote a 2000-word essay on CRM, but now I’ve got nothing to say here.  Ah, well.  It’s time to close this window and give up for the day.

I’ll have more to say after I teach the end of Boethius tomorrow.

  1. May I ask what the project is that you and Ryan are working on? Or is it top-secret? 🙂

  2. Btw, the blogs are becoming a good way for us to keep in contact. Have you been able to read any of ‘Indoctrination U’ yet?

  3. He actually pitched the idea to me on the Ooze a while ago, but we’ve both been too busy to take it on. The book will be a collection of essays in which I take on a topic as a philosopher/theologian/teacher and then he writes a nonfiction humor piece on the same topic. As I said, I wrote about five pages on one essay, three an another, and two on another today, so I feel pretty good about cranking out drafts at least in fairly short time.

  4. I haven’t even been to UGA’s campus since last Thursday. My schedule being what it is this semester (everything, including classes and office hours, on Tuesdays and Thursdays), and gas prices being what they are (real high), I don’t even commute to campus outside of those two days except for CFF meetings.

I promise that tomorrow I’ll bop over to the library and look for it.

  5. I am not even half way through it yet so don’t feel the need to rush or anything. I’ll prob. read another chapter tonight but I won’t be surprised if you read more than me in one sitting than what I’ve read so far. I’ve been slacking and haven’t read any of it the last couple of days.

  6. Good, good. Would you like to do some joint-blogging on CRM about it once I’ve obtained it?

  7. We could do a “teacher’s perspective, student’s perspective” kind of riff.

  8. Sure, that sounds cool. Just don’t make me look too dumb! 🙂

  9. Well, UGA’s copy is lost. Just checked the catalog. But I am having a copy sent from Georgia Perimeter College in Athens–it ought to get here by Thursday or so.

I’ll have to wear a disguise when I go pick it up. 😉

  10. robert

I can kick in with an administrator’s perspective.

  11. Check in on CRM in the next couple weeks. My copy should be arriving in Athens some time tomorrow.
